About the shop

Made by hand, one design at a time.

HAKO DRAWS is a one-person card shop. Every card starts as original, hand drawn artwork made without the use of AI. Each card gets UV printed in small batches on real holofoil cardstock, helping them feel like your favorite authentic TCG cards. Each sheet is then trimmed down and each card's corners are rounded by hand. Blind packs are assembled using math (ew!) to calculate accurate print runs and pull rates, and then sealed (by hand again) in wax pack wrappers also designed and printed in-house.

Right now there are two sets running side by side. 'The Hayley Williams Show' Art Card set is directly inspired by the performances and music leading up to her highly-anticipated 'Hayley Williams Show' world tour. The set features 25 numbered cards printed in both common and holofoil variants. In addition to numerous hand-drawn and colored cards featuring the remarkable Hayley mother f*cking Williams, there are also trainer and item cards featuring iconic show fits, band members and more. The rarities of the cards range from common to hyper rare, with a super limited edition 'Brotherly Love' card set featuring connected art that links with a card meant for Hayley herself.

These cards are being distributed in blind packs at a few of her upcoming shows, in both the US and Mexico. The intent of these cards is to share art with other fans, and also encourage more intermingling in her fan community. I hope you are able to find these cards, trade with your neighbor, and do your best to complete a master set. I'm sure Hayley's music means as much to you as it does to me. Having my art be received similarly means the world to me.

Hayley, if I somehow managed to fully hit a homer and get a pack of cards to you and the guys, thanks for all of the blood, sweat, and tears you've put into the music and these shows. The dates I have seen have been fucking killer. Touring takes a special kind of resiliency, as does sharing the deepest and most vulnerable parts of yourself to create the art that brought us all here. Doing it night after night? That's raw. It doesn't go unappreciated. I hope you get a kick out of the cards. They are a labor of love that cumulatively took over 100 hours and a nice chunk of my day job money. I had a blast doing it. I can't really complain about any work that forces me to stare at photos of nice looking faces for hours on end. If you're ever looking for a merch artist, I've got time.

POKRmon Gen. 1 is a set comprised of eight original character works: not reprints, not proxies of existing cards, just new designs built in a familiar card language, featuring scenes I wish were depicted on our favorite TCG hits. If anybody from the legal team is reading this, please don't sue me. I'm just a huge fan who enjoys drawing your characters for an artistic outlet. I'm not making any money on these when you factor in production costs. That said, if you're ever willing to risk it all on a new illustrator I would love to chat <3.

Because everything is made in small batches, some cards will eventually retire. Once that happens, it's marked for the archive and stays on the site so the set archive stays complete — but it won't come back in stock.

Frequently asked

How long does shipping take?

Cards ship within 2 business days of purchase, unless there is a vacation notice on the site. All cards are packed in a top loader and secured with a rigid backing so they arrive flat.

Are these official Hayley Williams or Pokémon merchandise?

NO — these are unofficial, hand-made fan art pieces. They're not licensed, endorsed, or produced by Hayley Williams, Paramore, Post-Atlantic Records, Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company.

Do you take custom requests?

I LOVE custom work! Reach out through the contact page with what you have in mind and I'll let you know if it's something I can take on.

What happens when a card sells out?

Limited cards are marked for archive and stay visible in the set for reference, but won't be reprinted once gone — that's part of what makes them limited. If you've missed out on grabbing a card from the singles shop you can always try your luck with one of the blind packs, which may contain a previously printed card, or you can try to connect with other fans in the Discord to trade your way towards a full set.
